Happy Hump Day! I took a nice long walk this morning to try to work on this hump growing up my backside, too many winter munchies were the cause of that hump!

DP2 Challenge

Hello and thanks for stopping by. Got to spend the morning with my sweet grandson.......who always puts a smile on my face! Today I am sharing with you a card  I made for the DP2 Challenge...Add a Ribbon. I have a hard time working with ribbon but I managed to make what does look like a small bow.

Sassy Cheryl Challenge, My First Tole Painting Project and Fun With The Camera

Helloooooooo glorious sunshine oh how I love you!!!!!! Oh, hello, yes I love you too, thanks so much for stopping by! I have had my hand into so many fun things this past week there just hasn't been enough hours in the day. I love fun things.
First up there is a new challenge on over at the Sassy Cheryl Challenge Blog  http://sassycherylschallenge.blogspot.ca/  Punches and or Dies.
 My card once again uses one of my favorite pre-colored images and my punches are the border and flowers. This card will be a Birthday card for a special girl who is turning 10 next week.

Next up is my newest hobby, Tole Painting, and this little beauty is my first project that I finished last night. It is a wooden box that I will use to hold all my brushes.

 

And lastly, I have been playing around with a new camera and a new editing program, so yesterday being the 8th snowstorm of the season I decided to enjoy some selfies after the storm passed and it was just, pretty out. That's all for today folks, have a great day!

 

 

Happy Storm Day

Well of course we got another storm day, lol, it's Wednesday. Out of 6 snow storms we received this winter 4 of them have been on a Wednesday. I think next winter we should remove Wednesdays from the calendar!

My Stamping Studio

I thought I would share some pics of my new and improved stamping space. Yes, your right, I still have wall space available, hopefully once that big roll top desk is outta there, I will get some more wall shelves put up and my white hutch moved back upstairs.

House Mouse and Friends Challenge

Good morning. Well, wouldn't you know it.......we are hearing of some more nasty weather coming our way Thursday into Friday......I have one thing to say.......blahhhhhhhh!!!!
Thank goodness I have my studio moved back upstairs cause I plan to hunker down in there during the storm.
 Today, I have joined another challenge, this one over at House Mouse and Friends. It's a COLOR Challenge for HMFMC163
The challenge is to use the colors Amethyst, white and a third color. I went with black as my third color........I know, technically, black is not a color but it is in my creative world, lol. shhhhh
 I have used Gruffles and his lilac bouquet. My favorite flower!

I know, wow 3 posts for me today. I am on a roll with some challenges. Over at C.C. Designs our challenge is a Sketch s I pulled out one of my favorite images.

And here is my card I am submitting: I was a little concerned that maybe my pearls would not be considered embellishments but I couldn't find anything else to go there in that spot. So, keeping my fingers crossed!

A Cased Card

GOOD morning! I am lovin the sun shining in through my studio this morning, too bad the temperature didn't reflect that!
I was so happy yesterday, I made 5 cards, yes, yes I did!! Hopefully this is the beginning of me coming out of my creative slump.
This morning on Pinterest I found a sweet card that I totally loved. The card was designed by Paige Dolecki at http://www.stampologist.com/
I decided to case her card since I loved it so much; the bright bold colors and that gorgeous flower!! What's not to love.

Happy Monday and A Sassy Cheryl Challenge

Happy Monday! It's sunny but very cold in our neck of the woods! Oh how I long for Spring! It has been so long since I have participated in a challenge; I decided it was time. So, I am submitting this card to the Sassy Cheryl Challenge, It's All About Hearts. Their challenges are always fun to participate in.
I am using one of my older Sassy Cheryl pre-colored images. I pop-dotted the teddy bear and little girl for a 3-D effect but unfortunately you can't see it in this picture.
